1. Gupt Godavari : Gupt Godavari is a cave between the big rocks. The cave is so suffocating. So, the heart patient and asthama patient are not allowed here. The Water of river Godavari is come through anywhere from the hills secretly, so we are called it Gupt Godavari.
2. Ram ghat : Ram ghat temple is situated on the banks of river Madakini. In the night, Ramghat is looked amazingly beautiful with the lights. You can also do boating here. And see the beauty of ghat by the boats.
3. Laxman Jhhula – Laxman Jhhula is 7 km upper from the lower area of chitrakoot. It is in Kamadgiri hills. Laxman jhhula was the abode of God Laxman in the ancient time. After the 6.5 km way , you have to walk 152 steps through stairs to reach Laxman Jhhula. In the way, you will find many small temples but with the great mystery. If you become tired after the 6.5 km way , you will also go through the rope way. Rope way is only in 40 rs. for both side. This is one of the great iconic view site.
4. Sati Ansuya – Sati Ansuya is also placed on the banks of river Mandakini. You will get purest water of river Mandakini here. Sati Ansuya was the spouse of Atri Rishi. Great mythology says that The God Ram stay there sometimes during Vanvaas. Enjoy beauty of temple which is well – equipped with great work.
5. Hanuman Dhara – You have to walk 600 steps to reach the temple. You will get here a stream of river Mandakini which comes anywhere from hills. There is Sita Rasoi, Hanuman temple and many small temples in the way. Here is the rope way for avoiding 600 steps. But I suggest you to not to get rope way. Enjoy your way. Ropeway takes 130 rs. for both side. And you can’t take it for one side.
